The installation at the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt consists of four simulators.
With the target group being today's kids and
teens (i.e. tomorrow's drivers!), the simulators are designed to provide
professional information as well as a whole lot of fun.
Users may experience various driving tasks (fuel efficiency, handling) before proving
their skills on a challenging race course.
The simulators are running autonomously without the need for
an operator. They may be linked for team mode upon user's discretion,
thus providing the competition between the drivers
as yet another level of high-end entertainment.

The simulators are based on Virtual Test Drive,
a tool which is normally used for the development of next generation driver assistance
and active safety systems. Complemented by Tesis DYNAware's high-end vehicle dynamics
veDYNA, the simulators guarantee excellent immersivity and feedback to the driver.

The project was realized by VIRES as key supplier and integrator in co-operation with our partner TESIS DynaWARE and
with excellent support from an exceptional team of suppliers for all the nuts and bolts that are necessary to
make an idea become reality.
