OpenDRIVE® Real-Time Library
Using OpenDRIVE® data in applications like driving dynamics and traffic simulation requires
the real-time evaluation of the road network data contained in the corresponding
OpenDRIVE® road description file.
With VIRES playing a key role in the development of the OpenDRIVE® format and being involved in
the implementation of road evaluation routines in some of the industry's most sophisticated
driving simulators, you can benefit from our vast experience.
We have compiled an extensive library of data query and evaluation routines which provides a
real-time interface to the road data. The features of our
OpenDRIVE® Manager are:
import of OpenDRIVE® XML files
conversion of inertial to road positions and vice versa
unlimited number of contact points
parser for internal data structures
query functions for the most relevant road data (lanes, signals etc. )
setup of paths for vehicles
navigation within the road network including junctions
etc.
